USHJA Regional Championships Confirmed – and More Updates From Blenheim EquiSports!

As the countdown to the return of competition at the Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park continues, Blenheim EquiSports is pleased to announce that the USHJA has confirmed two regional championships will be held in San Juan Capistrano, CA, in June. 

The Platinum Performance/USHJA Green Hunter Incentive Southwest Regional Championship and the Standlee/USHJA National Hunter Derby Southwest Regional Championship will now be held during the Blenheim June Classic, running June 26-30, 2024.

The show will also feature the Blenheim West Coast Pony Hunter Challenge and the USHJA Pony Hunter Derby Championships – West, as well as the all-new

Blenheim West Coast 2’6” Children’s & Adult Hunter Challenge and much more! In preparation for the West Coast Pony Hunter Challenge, pony competitors are invited to participate in the Pony Model Warm-Up on Wednesday, June 26 – with fun costumes encouraged! To view the revised show schedule, click here.

The summer line-up at The Riding Park will also feature two three-day events, presented by Equi Sports Inc., featuring USHJA Outreach classes and equitation medals sanctioned by the CPHA, PCHJA, LAHJA, SCHSA, OCHSA and GSDHA. The new shows will also offer jumper classes – ranging from itty-bitty to the $20,000 1.35m Open Jumper Classic – $1,000 2’6″, $1,500 2’9″ and $2,500 3′ Hunter Derbies, plus classes for all ages and experience levels.

The schedule for the San Juan Capistrano Outreach Classic 1 & 2, to be held June 21-23 and July 12-14, is now available online here – with a full prize list to come!

Back by popular demand, the “NO SHOW Series, also presented by Equi Sports Inc., will also make its summer debut on June 15-16 with an expanded schedule from walk-trot to 1.20m jumpers.
