Updated Blenheim May Prize List and Schedules Now Available

A revised prize list for the San Juan Capistrano International and the Surf & Turf Classic, to both now be held at the Los Angeles Equestrian Centeris available to view here. Our Blenheim EquiSports team can’t wait to see everyone in L.A.! We are busy packing five semi-trailers full of all the Blenheim goodies to make your experience in Los Angeles a memorable one!

Highlights of the revised schedules now include:

  • $50,000 1.40-1.45m Grand Prix – weekly
  • $20,000 Markel 1.40m Open Speed – weekly
  • $10,000 1.30m Open Jumper Classic – weekly
  • $2,500 1.30m Open Jumper Speed – weekly
  • $15,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby – San Juan Capistrano International
  • $5,000 USHJA National Open Hunter Derby – weekly
  • $5,000 USHJA National Jr-Am Hunter Derby – Surf & Turf Classic
  • a full range of hunter, jumper and equitation classes at both shows
  • a Mother’s Day Hat Contest, Fête & Leadline – prior to the Grand Prix of LA in May

  • For scratches, horse substitutions or refunds, please contact Retha at rethasternberg@ymail.com. All show scratches must be made by 5 p.m. (PDT) Thursday, May 2, for both shows in order to receive a full refund or show credit. After Thursday at 5 p.m., all scratches will be assessed late scratch fees and will be responsible for stall fees.
  • All new entries must be made through ShowgroundsLive.com. The deadline to enter is 5 p.m. (PDT), Friday, May 3, for both shows. Stalls will fill up quickly, so stall counts are needed as soon as possible. Additionally, entering classes ahead of time will allow the Blenheim EquiSports and LAEC teams to better plan to best accommodate all competitors.
