Dear Friends,
- As one of the rare positive consequences of COVID-19, the fall soccer season at the Riding Park was cancelled, allowing Blenheim’s facility crew to undertake the most significant footing revamp ever to both the grass and sand arenas.
- Next year, Gregg & Evette DeLong, along with Interactive Mortgage, one of our longstanding and most loyal supporters, has doubled down on its commitment to Blenheim and will be sponsoring a unique grand prix series unlike anything we’ve ever presented before…a true give-back to the sport at the highest level of national competition. More details in our upcoming prize list.
- And finally on a bittersweet note, Melissa Brandes has been offered a new career opportunity outside the horse show management business that was simply a chance of a lifetime! After two decades of being the “smile” of Blenheim, the driving force of the Marketing Department and the glue that held us all together, Melissa and her family will be moving to the East Coast. While sad that we will be missing her daily presence, we are thrilled for her good fortune and wish her great success as she embarks on an exciting new journey! She knows of course that she will always be a treasured member of the Blenheim family, but what she might not realize is that she will also continue to be a just a phone call away at any time of the day or night…not including the three hour time difference!
