Shelby Drazan Memorial Award For 2021

In memory of Shelby Drazan

Win one round trip Horse Flight CA-Ky-CA for the
2021 Indoor H/J Show Circuit

Tex Sutton Equine Air Transportation

In memory of Shelby, the Drazan family together with Tex Sutton have established the Shelby Drazan Memorial Award. The selection of the recipient will be based on an individual that has displayed sportsmanship, integrity and passion in the show jumping arena, and in their community. The winning recipient will be awarded roundtrip air for one horse and equipment from Southern CA to Kentucky. Additionally, the Drazan family will provide $2,000 for entries to any 2021 “Indoors” 3’6” Medal Final.

Interested candidates must be a 3’6” Junior Equitation Rider.

Applicants will be required to submit a written essay to be considered for the award. The subject of the essay should touch on personal contributions you have made in your community, school and or extracurricular activities. List any character traits that portray sportsmanship, integrity and passion. Please include your full name, address, e-mail address and phone number on the essay.

Please submit your essay to Greg Otteson Greg@Texsutton.com no later than September 06, 2021. Winner will be announced during the Region 8 ASPCA Maclay Regional Finals – September 18, 2021 during the Blenheim Fall Tournament at the Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park at San Juan Capistrano, CA.

Flights will only be provided on regularly scheduled Sutton Flights departing and returning to San Bernardino, CA
